I've decided to record my travels to Matthew Yoshi's domain on Mt. Fear from here on in my journals.

During my efforts to clamber Mt. Fear and rescue Crystal from Matt Yoshi,(A request from Fireball, and how could I refuse? An adventure with a damsel in distress? It's screaming my name! ) I encountered someone. I'll record what happened down here.


"...The hell are you?" I asked, clenching my fists together. The rock-like creature stood up, and emitted a terrible cry.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" It roared a straight, proud and low pitched scream that made my hair stand on end. Raising its right arm, it swung a wild and wide blow at me. It would've taken my head right off if I hadn't have dodged.

At first I didn't know what to do. I assumed he'd gotten shit-faced on Thanksgiving and was experiencing some kind of hangover from some sake or vodka, but none the less, I had to defend myself. Powering up to Defender of the Desert, I blasted in as fast as I could and struck his arm with Shin's "Boulder-Blast Fist" technique.

Living up to his name, the arm broke, and the creature wailed in pain. I repeated the process to all his limbs. He then lost his balance and became still."
